Hi, and welcome to Ouch Professional Body Piercing, the home of Cornwall's finest body modifications. We have friendly and busy studios based in the market town of St. Austell and the city of Truro, Cornwall. We established ourselves in 1997 as a family studio and have since trained and employed a team of like minded and talented artists to add to the energy of our caring team.
We are a studio that prides ourselves on the care we take with all of our customers and your piercings. We bring you the finest implant grade titanium and 14 carat gold jewellery from the best manufacturers in the UK and America as well as providing the most innovative in piercing ideas.
We operate as a walk in studio with the exception of project work and intimate piercings, these require an initial consultation.

AFTERCARE
Please wash your piercing twice a week using a mild antibacterial soap, such as Carex. Rinsing the area thoroughly with warm water after cleansing away any secretion away from your jewellery and your new piercing. Once the area is clean and dry please apply BPA aftercare to help moisturise and protect against infection, you should apply this using the dropper making sure that it doesn’t touch your piercing.

We also recommend a spray aftercare, Prontolind, which is extremely simple and effective to use, this needs to be applied to the fresh piercing two to three times a week, without touching or moving the jewellery.
If you experience any redness or dryness during the healing process then please contact on of our studios straight away. Please can you always check the ingredients for any allergies you may have in the products we recommend you use.

WHAT TO EXPECT
After having a piercing it is quite normal to experience a dull ache and slight swelling or even a little bruising for around 48 -72 hours afterwards. You will also have little bit of secretion from the piercing that is clear. This is quite normal and it is called lymph fluid. If any of these symptoms are a worry to you then we encourage you to contact the studio to enable us to give you any additional advice or jewellery changes you may require.
Our studios have separate sterilisation rooms where we practice the highest standards of hygiene with strict sterilisation routines. All members of the team are First Aid trained. Both ourselves and the premises are registered with Cornwall County Council.
