At Ouch! Boutiques, we pride ourselves on the care we take with all of our customers and their piercings.

To make sure your new piercings heal as quickly and easily as possible, you’ll need to give them a little love. Healing times will vary from person to person and will depend on the placement, individual anatomy and overall health, below are a few tips to help you on your journey.

Within 48 hours: A little bleeding, localised swelling, tenderness and bruising. Symptoms can be alleviated with an ice pack provided in your Ouch! Aftercare Pack.

5 Tips To Care For Your Piercing

1. Rinse daily with clean, running water.
2. We recommend that you clean every other day, ideally in the evening, using your Ouch! Aftercare Solution. This is an extremely mild solution that will gently support the healing process and guard against infection.
3. Remember to spray the front and back of the piercing site, carefully wiping away any excess with a clean cotton pad.
4. Unless advised by your piercer please leave the jewellery in for a minimum of 3 months.
5. Pop back to your closest Ouch Boutique for a 6 week check in.

Things To Avoid

• Avoid swimming pools/spas for 72 hours and sea swimming for 48 hours.
• Avoid sunbeds for 24 hours.
• Avoid sleeping on the side you have had pierced.
• Avoid touching, twisting or pulling the jewellery.
